Why is the use of SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) of great and growing importance to customers of EMS service providers? The simple explanation that it is about quality is not enough, as there is a quality objective in the background of almost every investment in machinery.   

The last two years have been a particularly difficult time for electronics manufacturers. The confluence of natural catastrophes and the COVID-19 pandemic, the breakdown of supply chains and even political tensions and armed conflicts have not favoured electronics manufacturers, who are experiencing shortages in the availability of electronic components.  

Today, when customers can’t afford the risk of faulty PCBAs, as the components wasted in a faulty assembly process may not be available for many months, when we consider that up to 60% of defects in SMD assembly can be attributed to the paste printing process, the quality dimension of the investment in SPI is paramount.

Cracow is one of the most active centres for electronic companies in Poland. Young companies – such as Estimote and Husarion for example – are already well established brands. Many others teetering on the edge of commercial success. The Krakowski Park Technologiczny or the LifeScience Cluster are examples of well-established institutional support for young business.

Cracow is also home to several established Polish electronic companies that are active internationally. Comarch, Fideltronik and listed ES-System are only three examples. In recent years, Cracow has also become the preferred location for Delphi’s and Motorola Solutions’ development centres (among others).

The Akademia Górniczo Hutnicza and the Cracow Technical University not only provided the perfect educational background, but are also home to new entrepreneurial ventures. It’s close proximity to the Katowice region, with dozens of electronics companies adds to the attraction of Cracow.

It is one of the oldest and probably the most recognisable economic distinctions in Poland, awarded continuously since 2000.  

This year’s award is the 22nd edition of the Ranking of the Most Dynamic Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.  

Presence in the ranking means that the company belongs to the elite of small and medium-sized companies. It means that it can be trusted and has a recognised brand.

It took place in cities such as Lund, Tampere, Helsinki, Berlin, but also in Poland: in Warsaw and Krakow. This year’s event was the last one in Lund. In 2022, the Evertiq Expo will be held in Malmö. 

Our company was present at the Evertiq Expo in Lund after a break caused by the COVID-19. We promoted EMS services at our stand. Thank you for all visits. We wish You good luck in the coming New Year.

The fair was an opportunity for numerous meetings with our current and potential customers interested in the contractual service of electronics production.

On the exhibition stand we also presented solutions for Industry IT, including panel computers, single-platform computers, wireless solutions, as well as our competences in the field of Power Solutions.

The Power Solutions workshops organized by us enjoyed a lot of interest. JM electronics enriched its offer with a series of primary and secondary cells, which can be used in electronic devices assembled by us for the needs of our customers.

Artykuł JM elektronik on EVERTIQ EXPO 2019 in Warsaw – Video relations pochodzi z serwisu JME.

The competition involved programming LEGO robots. The submitted robots were presented on the fan page of Primary School No. 30 in Zabrze-Helenka, which is located next to our Production Facility. The winner was determined based on the number of likes under the film presenting their robot’s capabilities. All students who competed for the main prize funded by our company created robots that could move and make sounds. The contestants were building their robots during school time, with the number of hours provided for constructing the robot being strictly limited.

The winner, who will receive the main prize of PLN 1000 scholarship, is the creator of a robot named “ŁAZIK 15”, which received over one thousand likes. Congratulations!

We have undertaken to protect the environment while doing our business operations. We particularly focus on minimising energy consumption, preventing environmental pollution and proper waste management. Therefore, we decided to implement ISO 14001:2015 standard, which will enable us to consider the influence of our business on the environment, but also to identify the possibility of improving our decisions and processes in this regard.
